When Katy Perry performed on one of the X-Factor live shows back in October 2010 no one could have predicted the outstanding success of her single ‘Firework’. It was instantly a radio and club hit, mainly due to its infectious chorus chanting ‘Baby you’re a firework’, as well as an exciting and sexy video in traditional Katy style. ‘Firework’ peaked at position 3 in the official UK singles chart and now, fourteen weeks after it was officially released, it still holds a top 20 place in the chart! For the second consecutive year Black Cat Fireworks and Standard Fireworks are selling the ‘Golden Bees’ firework for £1 and donating ALL sales to Kirkwood Hospice. Last year we raised £4,500 for the charity and this year we hope to do the same or more!
