 Now that we’re on the approach to Bonfire Night its time to get up to speed if you don’t know all the facts.
Bonfire Night is the busiest time for fireworks in the UK and although we all love Bonfire Night and the joy it brings all around Britain, it is important to remember to be safe as well.

Illegal Fireworks
Over the years different fireworks have become illegal in the UK; to avoid purchasing illegal fireworks always buy from a reputable firework brand and outlet that you trust. Standard Fireworks and Black Cat Fireworks have been supplying fireworks to the UK market for almost 120 years and supply fireworks to many well know high street shops and supermarkets.

The Firework Code
- You must be over 18 to buy fireworks and sparklers
- Never give sparklers to children under 5. Ensure that children wear gloves when handling sparklers
- Sparklers can reach temperatures of up to 2000*C
